| This is a great Seldovia cabin. Lots of room to store your "toys" on this 3 acre parcel, nice views of the bay and mountains.
The cabin is small, 24x16, with living, bath and kitchen downstairs. The upstairs is accessed with a secured ladder/steep stairwell and there is ample room for an office area, bedroom and sitting area with great views of the bay! Though the cabin does not have a septic or well, the owners have organized the home to be very efficient and to run comfortably. The sellers haul water from the city to the holding tank under the home. From there, a pump brings the water to the kitchen and bath. They discard the gray water outside, over the bank, and the toilet is an incinerator toilet, so that is not an issue either. It is a very effective and simple system. There is power, phone and you can pick up local TV stations with an antennae. There is also internet available, the owners will leave the satellite that connects to SpitSpots service in Homer. The heated shop is perfect for many projects, as it has its own heat source - a Toyo stove, and enjoys high ceilings and large garage-style doors. There are two additional storage cabins, one for water tanks, garden tools, etc. and the other is kept with a small electric heat source and used as a pantry and storage of household items. There is also a very cute and spacious outhouse! This cabin is all set up and ready to enjoy! |
