Now I know I'm speaking to so many of you. We all have our close family not so close, sometimes! Living in Seldovia, our kiddos grew up - moved away to explore other opportunities within the State of Alaska, outside the state - and even outside the country! That is how it should be! Thankful for our smart phones that keep us connected, through Facetime, calling, texting, and social media sometimes. But today, I realized we are actually ALL in different cities today! Thankful we all have jobs to do, homes to live in, pets to care for, adventures to pursue, extended family to support... that is what makes life so interesting, complicated and messy! I'm thankful today as I realize that we will be spending some holiday time together - all together very soon, and celebrating one more addition to our family as KC & Dani are due in December - can't wait! I'm going to be a grandma! Thrilled!
