In Seldovia, spring doesn’t arrive all at once, it tiptoes in.

There are more and more patches of bare ground, less and less ice and a few brave birds returning, or that familiar sound of water moving freely again.

 

The first day of spring reminds us that change is coming, slowly but surely, and that brighter days are ahead for our little Alaska town by the water.
